Problems with Epson Detachable Chip Inks
Posted by Dale 3000rpm.com on 05 March 2009 05:01 PM
The detachable chip inks we sell come with our without chips and we offer both of these.

The first time you buy them you need to purchase with chips and keep the chips to use on existing inks in the future.

All you need to do is unclip the ink cartridge from the chip and click onto the new ink tank.

Sometimes the ink does not register correct as the cartridges are auto reset cartridges so when you take the inks out and put in again or turn off the printer they will appear to be full again.  Before replacing make sure the cartridge is finished.

The cartridges for the Epson with number 801 / 802 / 803 / 804 / 805 / 806 you will receive the cartridges with numbers 711 / 712 / 713 / 714 / 805 / 806, this is because they share a common colours for the black, cyan, magenta and yellow inks and only the chip is different.
